Christmas Play

Our church (New Life Community Church) had our children's Christmas play last Sunday. All the kids did a great job. Grace didn't have a speaking role (and if she did - she probably would not have spoke) - but she (along with three others) were wise men (I'm willing to bet we had one of the cutest group of FOUR wise men ever!). Abby and Simeon are 3 and Gabe and Grace are 2 and all four of them played the part perfectly. Although Grace almost backed out at the last minute - until I allowed her to have her pacifier. At least the pacifier was purple and matched her robe :). She took her gift (a candle) and laid it in front of baby Jesus and then stood off to the side. She was a pro!! In the end she wanted to hold baby Jesus - that wasn't in the script - but very cute.
