Back to San Antonio pictures...

Here are a bunch of pictures from the San Antonio trip...

We borrowed Don and Bobbie's umbrella stroller for the trip - we were so thankful to have something so we did not have to carry Grace everywhere we went. As long as we were moving, she enjoyed it. Pictures from the sidewalk of the Riverwalk.

I had a few minutes to play over my lunch hour. We usually went outside so I could warm up. It was 100 or close to it every day, but they kept the conference rooms so cold that it felt good to go outside!
Grace loved to watch and feed the ducks and pigeons. They were very friendly once they knew you had food for them.

We sat outside some nights for supper, this is Grace being silly with her straw.

Grace and I on the grounds around The Alamo.

Grace is not a big fan of hats!

We took a boat tour on the Riverwalk. It was a lot of fun. Our tour guide was very entertaining!

Grace tried fresh avocado. She seemed to like the first couple of bites, but by the time we got the camera out, she wasn't so sure!

Grace showing off her new Texas shirt. It looks like she was bouncing on the bed, but to be honest, we were just lucky to get a picture of her standing!
Here is a picture of our hotel. Mom took this from our boat tour.
Here was the view from our hotel room one evening.
Airport picture in San Antonio. Saying good bye :)

Here's an airport picture from Dallas/Fort Worth. We weren't sure we were going to make our connection because we were delayed out of San Antonio, but the plane from Dallas had "mechanical trouble" so it was delayed also. It sounds kind of funny, but we were so thankful for the trouble so that we didn't have to spend most of the day in the airport.

Flood picture from the airplane. Near Cedar Rapids.

One more picture by the plane. Grace survived her first plane trip with mom and grandma!
It was nice to be home - Grace and I both missed her dad!
