Christmas @ home (Christmas Eve Eve Morning :) )

This morning (December 23) we celebrated Christmas at our house.   The girls slept in, which was nice after a fun family night out last night (Texas Roadhouse, seeing Santa at the mall, and Wal-Mart).  When Grace did wake up around 7:45 she came in and asked if she slept all night, and if Santa came.  That was our cue to get out of bed as well and go find out if anything had changed downstairs.  Grace went right for her stocking, and had fun taking things out one by one with much excitement.  Sophia was very interested in playing with the "new" kitchen and accessories.  After all the events of the morning - the kitchen (which is really cool - it makes water noises when you "fill" up a cup of water, turn the stove on and the bacon (or whatever you are cooking) sizzles.  There is a popcorn button for the microwave that makes the popcorn popping noise, then beeps when it's finished...really, it's cool!).  

 The dress up clothes were quite fun as well! 

 And the blocks!  Grace is quite the builder, even with her princess gloves on :).

 Here's a picture of the picture from seeing Santa (hence the glare).  Grace was so thrilled - I kind of thought she would back out at the last minute - but not even close!  She did great and was sure to tell Santa that she wanted a "Cyclops House - with everything in it!"  Creative kid :).
